Government College of Engineering and Technology, Jammu
The Government College of Engineering and Technology, Jammu (GCET) was established in the year 1994 under All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE).
Nine Academic Departments are involved in the Teaching/Training work from 1st to 8th Semesters i.e. Five concerned Engineering Departments and Four Applied Sciences Departments of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Humanities & Social Sciences.
The Boy's Hostel has been started in the new campus. The construction of SC/ST Girls Hostel under AICTE and State Govt. Funding has been started by the JKPCC.
