South Delhi Polytechnic for Women
It lies on the banks of the River Jamuna. The Polytechnic was established in 1963, at South Extension. To later move in the early 1980s - to the present, spacious & leafy green campus at Lajpat Nagar. It has now grown to be the largest, in the Country.
It is run under the aegis of the Vocational Education Society . Vocational training here, is for Professional Careers leading to employment or jobs. We help Students in Placements and train them in Entrepreneurship or Self-Employment. We also aid them to embrace technology and design tools, but always for a relevant purpose. We strongly feel that to be skilled, is what stands by you and with you, in life! You can see, we have evolved with applause
