Army Institute of nursing, Guwahati

Army Institute of Nursing, Guwahati was established in the year 2006 under the aegis of Army Welfare Education Society for the wards of serving and ex-servicemen of Indian Army with an annual intake of 50 students for B Sc Nursing course and 20 students for M Sc Nursing course per year. As a welfare measure, towards people residing in North East Region, 10% seats are reserved for the civilian students (girls) who are domicile of seven North East States. It was a landmark in the history of Nursing Education when this college was inaugurated on 07 Aug 2006 by Gen J J Singh, PVSM, AVSM, VSM, ADC, the then Chief of Army Staff (COAS).

AIN, Guwahati has the state the art infrastructure and facilities which are conductive for effective learning. The labs and the Library are continuously equipped with the latest Teaching Aids, Books and Journals.

There are six highly equipped laboratories to provide practical experience to students by simulating real-life situations which enhance teaching-learning process:
