MBA in Healthcare and Hospital Management

Overview

With the Healthcare sector growing, there will be an increased requirement for trained professionals for efficient administration. A Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Health Care can be the answer to this need. It takes 2 years to complete this course and one can do it either full-time or part-time or correspondence also. 

Course detail: 
First Semester:  This may cover basic principles of health service management, planning of health care institutions and financial and cost accounting for hospitals.
Second Semester: This semester will cover the human resource management, clinical pharmacy, operations and services management, medical emergency systems and medical ethics.
Third Semester: This may include subjects such as quality management, medico-legal system, material management and hospital information management systems.
Fourth Semester: might consist of subjects such as marketing of health care services, medical tourism financial management, business policy and strategic management. A project could be required during this semester or may be one have to go on an internship.

Students who desire to enroll in an MBA in Healthcare & Hospital Management will generally need to have at least a bachelor's degree with 50 percent from a recognized institutions.
